This fifth year of service has also been one of growth spiritually, and in love from heart to heart.  The blessings just continue to fall all over the membership and pastor of Oldfield Baptist Church.  I often look around and realize how exciting it is to see individuals grow and become more active in worship service.  I thank God for the spirit He continues to place in this sanctuary and the people who make being a pastor a great experience.

Now as we embark on the year 2008, we must continue to celebrate what God has placed together and be mindful of His divine will.  In Jeremiah 3:15, the word of God states,  “And I will give pastors according to mine heart , which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”  I have endeavored to feed God’s people thoroughly through teaching, preaching, and being a living example.

I thank God for the well wishers, the good attitudes, and the love this community has shown to my family and myself.  I thank God for the opportunity to pastor Oldfield Baptist Church.  I thank the members, family and friends for taking a chance on a young spirited filled man of God. The past years have been outstanding as God has given me a vision for the Oldfield Baptist Church.  This vision can only be realized by the dedication, devotion, and commitment of all the members of Oldfield.  As the Pastor of this congregation, I look on with “Faith” as to what God is doing here, and I can say with blessed assurance that “God Is In Control of Oldfield      Baptist Church.”
